Steven Crabtree has served as the Manager (Operational & Process Excellence) for Above-Average Returns since July 2018.

Prior to Above-Average Returns, Mr. Crabtree served as Director of North American Operations, from 2013 to 2018, with SoftX Technologies.  During his tenure with SoftX, Crabtree was instrumental in leading the IPO team to their 2015 Initial Public Offering on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).

Prior to SoftX, Mr. Crabtree served as Chief Financial Officer at Protocol Technologies from 2011 until 2013. Prior to that, Mr. Crabtree served as Corporate Controller at Protocol from 2009 until 2011.
 

Previous to his service with Protocol Technologies, Mr. Crabtree served in various leadership roles throughout Canada and North America, with Dawson Creek Exploration & Production, from 2005 until 2009.  Those roles included, Assistant Controller, Controller, and Vice President of Finance and Accounting.

Mr. Crabtree completed his Undergraduate Studies at The University of Toronto Scarborough, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and Monetary Economics.  Furthermore, Mr. Crabtree completed his Graduate Studies at the The University of Toronto Scarborough where he received an M.S.A ( Master of Science in Accounting) and his CPA certification.  Mr. Crabtree likewise completed his CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification prior to beginning his professional career.

Mr. Crabtree enjoys coaching Youth Hockey and he is a full-time Board Member of The University of Toronto Libraries system, the largest academic library in Canada.
